Book Review - Beyond Aran
I have this book taken on a trip because it's nice and thin so I must have done in one day had to be, because at midnight my reading material was supposed to read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
, Out of Aran was' in our children's book case and I had not read it yet, because it belonged to my brother and I had never before discovered. It is a story set in Ireland in the year 400 AD.
Crithir, a young warrior and prince wants to win on the battlefield glory and honor, but an unfortunate fate means that he kills the king. According to the tradition of his people he will then be brought to the gods by a cruel ritual victim. But miraculously Crithir be saved. Ronait, a girl from the Wetlands nurses him healthy and the two fall in love.
I want the end of the story is not revealed here. Only this: it was quite a nice read, 15 years ago I had the book might very excited, but not any more. The end was still plenty to ... Weird ', but also cause I want to say anything.
